Preparation Work
Unpack the ECHO5 frame and check if all the components in the box are complete;
Then, select the accessories and tools required for installing the rack, and prepare to start the installation (make sure to keep the remaining parts for assembling the complete drone).
Installation Steps
Step 1 | Assembly of the center plate and the bottom plate
Place the center plate with the nut side facing up, the V-shape facing forward, and the center counterbore of the base plate facing up. Then, as shown in the figure, use two M3x8mm screws to tighten from the bottom of the base plate upwards.
Step 2 | Assembly of the Arm, Base Plate, and Middle Plate
The root of the arm abuts against the core board, with the V-shaped center board facing forward and overlapping with the center board. Secure it by passing four m3x13mm screws with titanium-colored washers through the bottom plate and the middle plate of the arm.
Step 3 | Installation of the nose aluminum part and the aluminum column
Use four m3x6mm screws to secure the aluminum part of the machine head (with the silver edge facing out) and the 30mm aluminum column at the tail.
Step 4 | Installation of Side Cover and Tail Print
Use four m3x14mm screws to secure four 22mm aluminum columns, insert the tail print into the tail aluminum column, and finally slide the left and right side covers into the aluminum columns.
Step 5 | Installation of the Upper Plate and Dog Seat
Use 4 M3x10mm screws with ordinary black washers to pass through the printed parts of the action camera mount, ensuring that the heads of the first and last printed parts align with the shape of the upper plate. Pass them through the upper plate and secure it to the aluminum part of the machine head, then use 6 M3x8mm screws to fix the upper plate.
Step 6 | Final Assembly
Attach the battery pad to the upper plate, insert the two silicone lens pads on the side of the aluminum part, snap in place the 4 motor protection printed parts and the x-letter printed part of the upper plate, finally insert two battery straps from the left and it’s done.
